TWENTY YEARS OF EXISTENCE
At the helm of Kshema Power is Mr Satish Basant, an entrepreneur who took his first step in the field of renewable energy in 1992 when he was invited by the then Kerala Government to form a joint venture Company for the development of wind energy in the State. Encouraged by the success, Mr Basant set up Kshema Power, which, within a brief span of time, established itself as a reliable player in the wind energy sector in Tamil Nadu. The organization has also grown from being a small enterprise with six people to a highly reputed organization comprising over 1000 personnel. Most of these professionals are well-qualified, experienced and driven by the determination to make Kshema the first name in its domain. Since inception till date, The Company has executed several successful projects for multinational Companies like Vestas Wind Technologies and Gamesa Wind Turbines Pvt Ltd besides domestic leaders like Regen Power Tech. Kshema Power's significant achievements have drawn the attention of international customers too and one among them, a leading US based Solar Energy Company for whom Kshema Power is executing a project on a turnkey basis in Madhya Pradesh.

Kshema Power has constantly raised the bar on its own standards and surpassed itself when it comes to offering its best. In line with this the organizational goal, it is keenly pursuing international standards and systems and is working towards obtaining the necessary certifications including the coveted IQMS certification at the earliest.
MAJOR MILESTONES:
Kshema Power has the distinction of being the first to spot the potential of Theni district in in Tamil Nadu as a wind energy site. After Kshema successfully set up a wind energy park here, the entire industry followed suit and began to choose Theni as their location.
The most prestigious projects executed by Kshema include -
• Wind farm of 200 MW at Veeranam for Vestas Wind Technology
• Wind farm of 200 MW in Surandai near Tirunelveli for TANGEDCO
• 150 MW Wind Energy project for Gamesa Wind Turbines P Ltd in Madhya Pradesh.
• A wind energy project for Regen Powertech in Rajasingapuram In Theni.
• 25 MW project in Kerala - Ramakkalmedu in Idukki district for Vestas Wind Technology. The then Chief Minister of Kerala presented an award to the Managing Director for accomplishing the project successfully and in record time. Kshema Power also runs a 3 star category hotel near the Kochi International Airport, a popular hotel in the vicinity.
PROJECTS IN THE IMMEDIATE FUTURE
The company has bagged a 600 MW wind energy project from Gamesa Wind Turbines P Ltd., - 300 MW in MP and 300 MW in Tamil Nadu.
325 mw in MP - discussions at an advanced stage with IPP customers.
Extension of the present 300 mw in Amba MP to another 200 MW also in discussion with potential clients.
60 mw wind power project for two companies already finalized. in MP.
About 500 MW in Maharashtra is in an advanced advanced stage of approval from the Govt
Apart from the above nearly about 1000 MW projects are under wind study and various stages of development.
