Mr. Priyesh Bhatti is a Chemical engineer (B. Tech.) from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal and Post graduate in industrial Pollution Prevention & control from National Productivity Council (NPC), Ministry of Industry and Government of India having more than 21 years of experience in Hazardous waste management.
During 1994-2004, He has worked extensively on Scientific Treatment and Disposal of Hazardous Wastes Management in India, as Deputy Director (Environment), NPC, Ministry of Industry, Govt. of India. He has remained one of the key team member, team leader, and project manager of large number of hazardous wastes management projects carried out by Government of India for finalizing Hazardous Waste management Regulations, working Regional hazardous wastes management plans for states and regions. He was one of the key technical professional involved in establishing Integrated Common Hazardous Wastes Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facilities in Northern and Western India. He has studied manufacturing of 700 major industrial products, identified specific hazardous wastes generation factors and established waste specific treatment, storage and disposal guidelines for each category of waste.
Post 2004, He spearheaded GEPIL to become one of the most reputed, professionally driven knowledge based waste management company in India with a strong team of waste management professionals. He has led projects of developing common hazardous wastes management facilities, Alternate Fuel Resource Facilities (AFRF) with world class state of the art technologies. He is heading environment business of GEPIL, Luthra Group.
