Humboldt Wedag India Private Limited (HWI) is wholly owned subsidiary of KHD Humboldt Wedag International AG based at Cologne, Germany and is located in New Delhi, India. KHD Humboldt Wedag first entered the Indian cement market in1982 and established a dedicated cement division in New Delhi in 2000, to directly cater to the requirements of customers in the Indian subcontinent. Though the Indian subcontinent is the home market for HWI, they are also active in overseas projects including Iran, Nigeria, Yemen, Jordan, Kenya, Oman, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan and looking for other countries in Africa continent.
HWI has supplied 39 operating Pyro Processing plants and 21 raw material grinding systems 70 cement grinding systems and 22 Slag grinding systems to its various prestigious clients in India apart from overseas. HWI has cumulative manpower of 285, who are capable to provide technology, machinery, spare parts and services to the cement industry.
HWI has its own workshop in Faridabad, Haryana equipped with German standard manufacturing facilities and works in close cooperation with select engineering workshops which are equipped to meet KHD manufacturing requirements.
