With studies in Science, Humanities, Architecture and Interior Design, Conrad is an Interior Designer and Fellow Member of the Institute of Indian Interior Designers, IIID, where he served as President for the term 2002 to 2004. Conrad has represented the IIID at International conventions of the International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers - IFI, and of the Asia Pacific Space Designers Association - APSDA. Besides guest lectures at various design institute around the country, he has been facilitator for a student workshop at Taiwan and resource person and external examiner at Greenside, South Africa His professional design services have reached out to a wide category of projects ranging from hospitals, banks, corporate offices and television and recording studios for clients ranging from community banks to multinationals. Currently "small living spaces" and facilities for education, and healthcare are his preferred area of work. Along with partner, Mildred D’Abreo, he drives DLLD - Design, Learning, Direction, and Living of which KWYDNK - Knowing What You Do Not Know is an initiative introducing young design professionals, the end user and the trade associated with the built environment, to emerging areas that are missed out in design training that have become essential for holistic and responsible design solutions.
