Yow is the Director for HVAC Technical Center of Excellence in Trane, with responsibility to promote technical competency and system applications in Asia Pacific & India region. A veteran in the HVAC industry, he has more than 35 years of experience in the air-conditioning field, covering product management, sales management and systems applications with strong focus on delivering green and cost-effective HVAC solutions for target segments.
A member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), he has served as Chairman of the Education Committee of the Singapore Chapter. He is also a past president of the Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Association of Singapore, as well as a LEEDTM certified Accredited Professional.
Yow graduated with an Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering from National university of Singapore (1981), and a MBA degree from The Nanyang Business School, NTU (1999).
