Anita Bhat-Zutshi is currently Vice President - Finance ; leading finance business partnering for the Personal Care Business of Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL). Anita joined HUL in 1995 and more than 20 years of experience in HUL across Audit & Performance Management, Financial & Management Accounting, Performance, Managing Commercial Processes' including Buying and IT, Sox Compliance, Mergers, Acquisitions, Disposals and Business Partnering the Sales and Customer development, Categories and Brands teams. She has experience across Financial Services, Consumer Goods, Media and Pharmaceuticals industries. She is an active member of the Gender Balance Council for HUL. She also leads a multi-year initiative at HUL called "Project Symphony" which seeks to change the paradigm on cost savings for the company. She describes her purpose as 'Transcending norms and acting with courage – my leadership purpose is to make a unique visible difference to my work and my family.
Anita has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Madras and a Master in Management Studies majoring in Finance from the University of Mumbai. She is also an associate member of the Institute of the Cost and Management Accountants of India (ACMA) which she completed in 1992.
She is married to Sandeep Zutshi and has 2 daughters aged 14 and 11.
