Light commercial: small facilities. We supply furnaces, central air conditioners, heat pumps, air filters, and other comfort solutions. |

Commercial building: industrial and multi-level facilities. We supply chillers, large unitary, airside systems and controls that provide comfort and enhance efficiency in buildings around the world. |

Refrigeration systems for food retail and transportation: We provide applications to ensure food supplies are transported and stored for safe consumption. |

In India, Carrier has one manufacturing facility in India, Carrier Airconditioning and Refrigeration (Carrier India), which produces air conditioning and refrigeration equipment for the domestic market. Products manufactured at Carrier India include ducted systems, chillers, airside systems, freezers and truck refrigeration.

In February 2012, Carrier and GD Midea Holding formed an air conditioning manufacturing and distribution joint venture in India. Midea owns 60 percent of the joint venture and Carrier 40 percent, through their respective affiliated entities. Midea is a leading residential air-conditioning manufacturer in the world. Carrier and Midea have existing partnerships in China, Egypt, Brazil, Argentina and Chile.
The joint venture primarily manufactures and distributes residential air-conditioning systems and brings together Carrier and Midea's complementary residential segment operations in India, while significantly expanding manufacturing scale and product portfolio to further enhance customer offerings and services.
Carrier's commercial solutions and services business in India were outside the scope of this joint venture. Carrier India continues to provide a comprehensive suite of sustainable building solutions to customers.
