Dr Anjan K Chatterjee, presently Director-in-Charge of Dr Fixit Institute of Structural Protection and Rehabilitation, Mumbai and concurrently Materials & Process Consultant with several industrial and academic organizations within and outside the country, retired from ACC Limited as its Whole-time Director in 2001. Prior to joining ACC he held the position of General Manager with Cement Research institute of India (now known as NCB), New Delhi and Assistant Professor of Material Science in Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.He has also served as Cement Expert with UNIDO for assignments in China and Nigeria. Academically he is a Materials Scientist with a Doctoral degree from Moscow State University, Russia and carried out extensive research work in Baikov Institute of Metallurgy in Moscow and Building Research Establishment in UK. He is a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering, Indian Concrete Institute and Indian Institute of Ceramics. He is on the Editorial Board of Cement & Concrete Research published by Elseviers and Cement-Wapno-Beton published from Poland. Dr Chatterjee is author of many publications and recipient of several awards.
