Arnab Basu is presently working as a Principal Consultant at ERM India in Bangalore office. He has more than 15 years of experience in overall management and supervision of Sustainability, Safety Transformation, Industrial and Construction Environment, Occupational Health & Safety and Quality Systems; compliance assessment, assurance, verification and evaluation of EHS legal requirements and Corporate EHS management system; implementation, evaluation and assurance of Corporate Sustainability Reporting and GHG accounting; training and consultancy for Quality, Health, Safety, Social Accountability and Environmental Management Systems.

Arnab has undertaken more than 600 Environment, Health and Safety Compliance and Management System assessments and several EHS regulatory and Management system implementation, development of corporate EH&S compliance guidelines, standards and protocols and EHS Training in countries like India, Bangladesh, Philippines, Indonesia, Greece and Sri Lanka.

Arnab has delivered more than 500 man-days of training programme on various Safety and Environmental topics.

Arnab is also trained in design, implementation and auditing of Process Safety Management Programme as per OSHA.

• • Presentation of paper on “Transforming Mining Safety Through Change Management Framework” at Sustainable Mining Summit at Goa, India organized by FIMI.
• • Presented paper on “Evolution of Process Safety Management (PSM) Concept and Framework for Successful PSM Culture” at IIT, Gandhinagar in their Annual Safety conference.
• • Presented paper on “Process Safety in Alternate Fuel Handling” at CII conference on Waste Management and Alternate Fuel in Bangalore, India.
