Ashwini is an Architect by qualification, with a passion for good design and sustainable development. In her 16 years of work experience, she has worked in varied functions from project management to new product development to Green product and process developments and CSR as well.
At Godrej Interio she has played key role in
- Implementation of International Green product certification programs like BIFMA level , GREENGUARD and Indoor Advantage, which included initiatives like inception of Design for Environment policy for new products , making the framework for chemical management program, Mapping of energy and water footprint.
- Conducting an environmental life cycle assessment for products with the objectives of in-house process redesign and green building product marketing.
- Developing the consumer end furniture recycling program WECYCLE.
- Collaboration with Academicians and research institute to develop research papers in areas like Indoor Air Quality, Scrap utilization etc.
- Planning and Implementation of CSR projects related to enhancement of quality of education , community waste water management and village sanitation.
