As Country Director of FII-India, Pranesh brings over 36 years of rich experience in corporate life of which over 21 years were spent working with multinational companies from varied industries. Last eleven years Pranesh spent working closely with the wood working industry in India as the Vice President of a German Furniture Fittings & Hardware Co. and helped it grow from a fledgling startup to a well-established market leader, in the process Pranesh struck up close working relationships with the leaders in wood working industry and trade and acquired a sound knowledge of how they operate. Pranesh is a post graduate in Economics and has done special management courses from the prestigious institutes in India i.e. 1) Senior Management Course from “Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad” and 2) Top Management program from “Indian School of Business, Hyderabad”. Pranesh has been actively involved in community service as well earlier as a Rotarian and has also been a President of his Rotary Club in Delhi. He joined FII-India in Oct. 2014 and has helped gain an entry into some leading wood working factories. He is now driving to channelize FII-India efforts into getting a much wider acceptance in both, the industry and trade through entry into all major (large volume and referral value) wood working factories/companies in India and thereby help Canadian Wood gain a respectable market share in the near future.
