Has over 22 years industry experience in Sales, Marketing Product Management and Business Development in Conventional as well as Non Conventional Power business. He has been closely associated with the policies in power, renewable energy and energy efficiency in Industrial space.
Presently he is associated with M/s Thermax Limited and is responsible for Business Development and new strategic initiatives. He has spearheaded the “Project Zebra” entry strategy to Africa and lead a cross functional team for entry strategies for select markets in SEA and has been responsible for carving long term strategy for the Division at Thermax. He has been also involved with the Chairperson’s office for strategic support for all Board and Board level Committees of Thermax as well as all other corporates and such entities the Chairperson was on Board of as an Independent Director. Has worked with Suzlon Energy Ltd. in the Int’l Business Development department and was responsible for the brand Suzlon globally, he also worked with M/s Jost’s Engineering Co. Ltd. As Technical Product Manager in the past, responsible for the entire product line at national level as the Profit Centre head.
Vivek has been and invited speaker at over 50 National and International level conferences as a speaker of varied subjects in Power , Infrastructure, Renewable energy and Energy Efficiency.
