Brief Profile
William (Bill) Dummer is a Target Costing expert with extensive experience in the development and application of Target Costing across multiple industries, including aviation, home appliances and transportation. Mr. Dummer has served in multiple Engineering, Procurement and Finance roles and was instrumental in the introduction of Target Costing within the Boeing Company.
He developed and managed the Target Costing organization for both the Whirlpool Corporation and Navistar, with teams in the US, Italy, Germany, Poland, Brazil, China and India. Mr. Dummer has also provided Target Costing consulting and training to various other companies worldwide. He has served as Industry Chairman for Consortium for Advanced Management International (CAM-I) and holds a Masters in Statistics and Bachelors in Literature.
Mr. Dummer's current role is with the Boeing Commercial Airplane Company serving as a technical expert in Aircraft Certification.
