In October 2015, Ross Shuster was named President, International Operations of United Technologies Climate, Controls & Security business unit, . Ross Shuster joined United Technologies in 2007 and has since held a number of progressively more senior leadership roles within Asia in the Carrier, the Climate, Controls & Security and the Building & Industrial Systems organizations. Prior to his current role, he was the President of Asia for the Building & Industrial Systems business unit. Prior to joining United Technologies, he was with Johnson Controls for 18 years where he held positions of increasing responsibility in North America and Asia including Vice President & General Manager of North Asia. In 2012, Ross was presented with the Magnolia Award from the Shanghai Municipal Government, the highest award bestowed by the City to foreigners who have contributed significantly to Shanghai's economic, social and community development. Ross holds a Master in Business Administration degree with a focus on International Business from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
