Shay Singh is the Director of Membership and Operations at New Zealand Green Building Council. He has over a decade of experience in green buildings, energy efficiency and building upgrade finance. His commitment to a sustainable future was demonstrated in his roles at the Green Building Council of Australia and Sustainable Melbourne Fund which involved delivering economic and environmental value in the built sector using market based mechanisms and innovative funding models. His passion is client engagement, working with industry to create solutions and providing quality service to members and clients. After 14 years in Australia, Shay returned to New Zealand in his current role at the New Zealand Green Building Council. During one of the most challenging periods in NZs construction and environmental history, he has led projects that streamlined NZGBCs business operations and improved membership engagement and growth.
