SthaladiptiSaha heads the design division, EDRC (Engineering Design Research Centre) of Commercial Buildings & Airports SBG of Buildings & factories IC in L&T Construction. EDRC is a multidisciplinary firm with about 1000 engineers and architects covering all branches of engineering related to buildings. Saha is a specialist in precast and prestressed concrete and played a key role in the design of many landmark structures like DIAL, BIAL, Hitec City, Jawarharlal Nehru Stadium, to name a few. He is a member of various BIS Codal Committees as well a member of Prefabrication Task Force of FIB commission on Prefabrication in Europe. He nurtures a team of over 25 IGBC, 4 LEED Accredited professionals & 12 GRIHA certified evaluators & trainers who are specialized in Green buildings. L&T has constructed more that 48 million sq.ft area of which about 34 buildings are certified green building spaces most of which are platinum & gold rated.
