Vinesh has an academic background in finance and began his career with footwear retailer& manufacturer, Bata India Limited in 1985. During his two decades with Bata India, Vinesh had the opportunity to work across different functional areas such as Manufacturing, CEO's office, Finance & Management Accounting, Category Management, Exports&Sourcing. In 1990s Vinesh was responsible for launching the Hush Puppies &Scholls brands in India which are currently the industry benchmarks.
After a brief stint with the Landmark Group, Vinesh returned to the footwear industry at Reliance Retail in 2006 & was a key member responsible for establishing a chain of Reliance Footprint stores across the nation. At Reliance Retail Vinesh headed the Technical, Supply-Chain, Planning & IT functions. Vinesh played an active role in establishing key overseas collaborations with Asics of Japan & Payless Shoes of USA.
Vinesh is currently associatedwith Sara Soule Private Limited as a core-member to build the Ruosh Brand of premium Men's leather footwear and accessories for business across different channels of business.Vinesh directly leads the Product Design-&-Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, Sourcing/QA, Information Technology& Planningfunctions.
Vinesh is a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (United Kingdom) & Chartered Global Management Accountantsand an Associate member of The Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of India.
On the personal side, Vinesh hasa keen interest in motorsports and football. Vinesh takes pride in being a DIY person& his hobbies includes carpentry& car-modelling.Vinesh enjoys travelling particularly with his family & is fond ofmusic& is an avid reader.
